Dear Markham Woods Family,
We want to share some important news with you regarding a transition in our veterinary team.
Dr. Hunley will be leaving Markham Woods Animal Hospital in the coming weeks. While goodbyes are never easy, this decision comes as part of a positive and mutual step forward, and we are incredibly happy for her as she embarks on this new chapter. Dr. Hunley has been an integral part of our team, and we are deeply grateful for the compassion, dedication, and care she has provided to so many of our wonderful patients and clients. She will be greatly missed, and we are truly thankful she began this journey with us.
The good news is that this is not a complete goodbye. Dr. Hunley will still be practicing at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Casselberry, so for clients who may need urgent after-hours care, you may still have the opportunity to see her. Knowing she will continue to serve the Central Florida community provides comfort to all of us who have loved working alongside her.
At the same time, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Nichole Crainick into an expanded role here at MWAH. Dr. Crainick has already become a beloved member of our team. Her expertise and genuine love for her patients make her an invaluable full time addition to our team.
Dr.Janosco and Dr. Crainick are committed to offering the same exceptional level of personalized care and service that you’ve come to expect from us at Markham Woods Animal Hospital.
We are so grateful for your continued trust and support as our team grows and evolves. If you have any questions or would like assistance scheduling with either of our doctors, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With gratitude,
The Markham Woods Animal Hospital Team
Dr. Hunley graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1999 and from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she practiced general medicine for 2 years before transitioning to exclusive emergency and critical care medicine at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida (VEC).
After 13 years, Dr. Hunley returned to general medicine. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, critical care medicine, and improving the human-animal bond. She relishes a challenge and constantly looks to improve her abilities to ensure that her patients receive a high standard of care to the best of her abilities. She understands that the relationship between people and animals, for many individuals, is just as much about family as it is about friendship.
During her time off, you can probably find her supporting the activities of her two teenage sons, or paddle boarding with her dogs
