We are proud to share that Dr. Marianne Janosco is heading to Aruba to volunteer her time and veterinary skills to help care for dogs and cats in need.
Dr. Janosco will be working alongside Animal Welfare Alliance Aruba, an incredible organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals throughout the island. Their work includes providing no-cost spay and neuter services for pets belonging to low-income families, helping control the population of stray dogs and cats, and educating local communities about responsible pet care.
She won't be going empty-handed!
Markham Woods Animal Hospital is donating medications, antibiotics, flea and tick preventatives, slip leashes, and other much-needed veterinary supplies for Dr. Janosco to take with her.
These supplies will help support the care of Aruba's street dogs and cats, as well as pets belonging to families who may not otherwise have access to veterinary resources.
For us, veterinary medicine has always been about more than what happens inside the walls of our hospital. It's about helping animals wherever and whenever we have the opportunity.
We are incredibly proud of Dr. Janosco for donating her time and expertise, and we're honored that our MWAH family can play a small part in supporting the people working every day to make life better for the animals of Aruba.
From Longwood to Aruba, every animal deserves compassion, care, and a chance at a healthier life.
